Christmas has come and gone. We had our traditional Christmas concert in the community kitchen on a simple stage as we've done the last three years. I'm finding it's not that difficult to do a performance without curtains.
This year we did Jesus Christmas' Party, a rather typical story about a grumpy innkeeper who wants nothing more than a good night's sleep but gets grumpier and grumpier as his sleep is constantly interrupted. Fortunately, his anger turns to joy when he sees the baby Jesus.
So our innkeeper was properly annoyed, the wise men were appropriately shocked... Alex had planned on being so shocked when the innkeeper yelled at him that his crown fell off; unfortunately he fell off the stage after coming on so he forgot! Which is just as it should be for kindergarten kings. They were awesome!
