On Saturday, our long-awaited guest finally arrived! Our pet hamster got in around 3:00 p.m. He, or is he a she, was supposed to come on Friday but with the huge snowstorm, Jack and friends weren't able to come home from Brandon - the roads were closed around 5:00. So our pet had the privilege of staying overnight in Newdale Colony.
Anyway, the kids are all excited. They haven't named him yet since we had to wait till we SAW him before we could look for a name. So come Monday, we'll vote. Could be Macoroni or Tiger (he has spots, not stripes!) but we'll see. And then Natalya was quite confident if he smelled we could bathe him in perfume. I have a feeling it's not the hamster itself that smells but I didn't explain that to her. Anyway, here is a picture of him. Not very clear but the best I have for now.
